SEDD organizes B2B for Number of Sectors

Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” organized B2B meetings at its main branch to strengthen relations between business partners and shed light on some successful models of investments in Sharjah. Number of entrepreneurs and investors from different sectors and holders of “Eitimad” license attended the meeting at which they discussed various topics and ideas.

Commenting on that, Ahmed bin Saed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs Department at SEDD, stated that organizing such meetings enables entrepreneurs to promote their companies, projects, research and products, and contribute to establishing commercial partnerships and continuous communication for the future among them. He added that such thing saves a lot of effort and time for commercial partners, by contributing to the establishment of business partnerships and communications necessary for the future, and the creation of new investment opportunities between the participating parties.

Al Suwaidi also clarified that the business environment in Sharjah is one of the best commercial environments in the region, thanks to the simplified procedures adopted by the Department of Economic Development and all other government agencies. Likely, he pointed out that SEDD had previously launched a specialized website to provide support to commercial partners, consolidate relations between them, facilitate the buying and selling process and other work that is in the interest of the concerned parties, and to shed light on some successful models of investments in Sharjah.

He also illustrated that SEDD is always working to overcome all the obstacles that entrepreneurs face in order to provide an incubating and stimulating investment environment for them that enables them to innovate and work well. He added that organizing such meetings came after studying ways to develop and support entrepreneurs to promote their companies, projects, research and products, and to contribute to establishing commercial partnerships and continuous communication among them.
