Coinciding with World Entrepreneurs' Day “SEDD Youth Council”, “RUWAD” inspire Youth through “Your Dream Calls” Session The Youth Council in Sharjah Economic Development Department, in cooperation with Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurship (RUWAD), organized a session titled " Your Dream Calls." The session coincided with World Entrepreneurs’ Day, with the aim of highlighting the inspiring success stories of a number of distinguished entrepreneurs. This session was participated by a group of entrepreneurs who shared their experiences in establishing their businesses, the challenges they faced, and how they were able to transform their ideas into successful, socially impactful projects. They also discussed the most important lessons learned and practical steps that contributed to enhancing the sustainability and growth of their projects. On the other hand, the organizers stressed that this session falls within SEDD’s initiatives to improve the entrepreneurial environment, encourage young people to run business with confidence, and provide them with real examples that inspire and motivate them to innovate and create. In this regard, Khuloud Al Zarouni, Head of SEDD Youth Council, stated that organizing this session falls within our belief of youth ability to innovate and create change. She added that it also highlights the Department’s concerns to provide sessions that help young to learn from successful experiences and gain the expertise that will support their journey in the business world. She clarified that such thing goes in line with Sharjah’s vision to promote a knowledge-based economy and entrepreneurship. It is worth mentioning that the session witnessed significant interaction from attendees, who posed questions and contributed to enrich the dialogue, reflecting the interest of aspiring entrepreneurs in benefiting from the expertise and experience of their peers.
