SEDD receives ENOC
HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), received HE Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer at (ENOC) Group, at SEDD main headquarter. Such a thing was done in order to strengthen areas of cooperation available in general and strategic partnership with Sharjah’s Economic Department to optimize the strength of the emirate's economy and the importance of the emirate's market for the group.
At the beginning of the meeting, HE SEDD Chairman welcomed the delegation and emphasized on the importance of holding such meetings which would enhance cooperation and mutual coordination to contribute to the sustainable economic development of the Emirate. The meeting was attended ENOC Officials and others from SEDD too.
From his side, SEDD Chairman stated that the Department pays great attention to holding such meetings. He also stressed that such meeting falls within the department’s framework to communicate directly with the main active commercial sectors and provide the best governmental services to facilitate things on investors and offer the suitable environment for them. All of this in done with relevant with the concerned authorities, especially after the company promised to remove the effects resulting from the closure of stations in the previous period. HE added that the emirate of Sharjah has a stable and sustainable economic environment as well as a distinctive geographic location, in addition to a legislative and legal environment too. Besides, the Chairman stated that Sharjah obtains a high economic growth and a carries out stable economic projects.
From their parts, (ENOC) Group expressed its appreciation to the concerns placed by HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his directives to create an investment environment and interest in the economic aspect. Also, they appreciated the great pursuit of HH Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council. In addition, (ENOC) expressed its gratitude to return in the market due to the importance of the market and the large volume of consumption of petroleum products in them. Likely, it has stressed its willingness to cooperate with the Department to work to remove all obstacles too. Furthermore, the Group was fully committed to remove the effects resulting from the closure of stations in the previous period.
Moreover, (ENOC) plans to open five service stations in 2019, with the number of stations in the Emirate of Sharjah reaching 25 stations over the next five years. It should be noted that the stations will include latest technologies and equipment and will operate according to the highest standards in order to develop the services provided to residents of the emirate.
In the end of the meeting, the delegation expressed its gratitude and thanks to SEDD for its efforts to improve the economic work in the Emirate. Thus, the delegation praised the clear development methodology adopted by the Department and emphasized on the need to continue the process of coordination between the two sides to ensure integration and communication as well as to exchange of experiences in various fields in order to reach a vision and a distinctive economic development plan.
