Commenting on that, HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, said that the main reason of holding such workshops comes from the Department’s concerns to make entrepreneurs conversant and able to know the tools and skills of crisis management. Also, it falls within SEDD’s interest to make them aware of placing appropriate marketing strategies under all circumstances, able to present and market products and services in an innovative and distinctive way to the public, and identify the requirements of the local market.

Additionally, HE stressed that the Department will continue its strategies derived from the vision of the wise leadership represented in providing support, guidance and follow-up to entrepreneurs in the emirate. Also, it falls within the concerns of providing them with new and innovative solutions, in order to help them thrive in the economic and commercial market, and to achieve a return added to the domestic product of the emirate’s economy.

On the other hand, Ahmed bin Saed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs Department at SEDD, stated that the workshop falls within the programs and plans of the department to qualify, train and educate entrepreneurs and owners of new or existing projects. Such thing is to be able to make their projects a success, continue developing them and ensure their sustainability through the use and adoption of the best means to market the project and how to build business reputation. This ensures the success of the entrepreneur, and the ability to meet the requirements of the labor market. Also, it helps to keep pace with the changes in the business and investment sector, and face all urgent circumstances and challenges facing economies and markets of all kinds and causes, in order to enhance the business environment in Sharjah.
