HE Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD”, emphasized that Commemoration Day represents a great national memory through which we pay tribute to our honorable martyrs whom sacrificed themselves in defense of the nation, faithfully embodying the highest values of sacrifice, martyrdom, and love of country.

HE SEDD Chairman added that the Commemoration Day raises awareness and appreciation, and builds the national culture around which we rally, to deepen the concepts of martyrdom, the status of the martyr, and work in one spirit. This all to perform the duty of which we are proud, and to move with certainty towards supporting truth and achieving justice everywhere, raising the banner of humanity, of love, tolerance and peace.

Likely, HE SEDD Chairman added that this great occasion highlights the pride of the people in UAE and their struggle in the arenas which represents their dignity and pride. He clarified that such day embodies the depth of our national cohesion, the strength of our union, and the greatness of the heroism of our martyrs whom did not hesitate to answer the call of duty and defend truth in the arenas and fields of pride and glory.
